The ASRock G31M-GS R2.0 supports the Intel G31 and ICH7 Chipsets. It is also compatible with all FSB1600/1333/1066/800 MHz CPUs (in case you want to change it), and it will support CPUs up to 105W. This board can has dual Channel DDR2 800/667 memory, with 2 DIMM slots and a maximum capacity of up to an impressive 8GB. For the gamer in you, it has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100, DirectX 9.0, and a maximum shared memory of 384 MB. If that wasn't enough, it comes with a PCI Express x 16 slot, a PCIE Gigabit LAN 10/100/1000 Mb/s and 4 SATAII 3.0 Gb/s connectors, so connectivity will never be an issue. This ASRock motherboard will also support ASRock Instant Boot, Instant Flash, Smart BIOS, OC Tuner and Intelligent Energy Saver. This board is EuP Ready, but an EuP ready power supply is required (sold separately). It comes with 5.1 CH Windows Vista Premium Level HD Audio (Realtek ALC662 Audio Codec) for some serious sound quality.

...he loves it!
Pros:
1. Pretty awesome for the price.
2. Decent BIOS.
3. Modern day S-ATA and PCI-E support.
4. Easily use your old IDE devices (optical drives and hard drives, for example) with the supplied IDE slots.
5. Supports some pretty decent processors! (I'm told it supports an earlier model of a quad-core CPU - Core 2 Duo x4 or something? I'm not sure) My brother instantly put on this motherboard, a Core 2 Duo CPU and has had no problems.
6. Supports Windows XP, if you're one of the many who refuse to use the newer operating systems!
Cons:
1. DDR2, as apposed to DDR3, but this was in-fact a necessity, as my bro' had a 2GB DDR2 DIMM already. (since this is a product review, I'm excluding this) As far as reliability of the seller: it all seems good to me! I've had no complaints from my bro'.
To quote my brother: "Installed easily, packaged nicely, and upgradable. No problems."

Finding good motherboards which are compatible with Core 2 Duo processors and DDR2 memory is becoming increasingly difficult. This ASRock M-ATX product was the best I could find to reuse existing components in a backup/server application, where its Gigabit Ethernet capability was much appreciated (the number of SATA interfaces is limited to 4, but it's possible to add extension cards to make up for this potential shortfall).
Having 2 PCI slots, in addition to two more modern PCIe slots was also valuable for my aging SCSI scanner and pro-audio soundcards.
By the way, this motherboard also works very well with Linux (Fedora 14 and 16)
