I got this on a whim when there where no reviews, big mistake.
I had been sharing a charger between my roommates laptop between my OEM one breaking and this one arriving. When it arrived I plugged it all up and let my laptop charge for awhile. When I went to use it, whilst plugged into the charger, it caused an unusual problem where the wireless card in my laptop would not function correctly, also breaking my entire wireless network. The unit got exceedingly hot, it smelt like burning plastic at some stages. I put this down just to getting a faulty unit so I requested a replacement.
The replacement unit arrived and it was the same story, except instead this time it caused my screen to flicker intermittently with artifacting.
The seller wanted me to post both back to him before I could get a refund, which would have cost me ~£7 making it, more or less, not worth my time even returning these. I accepted my losses and bought a nicer, more expensive (£30) unit and it has been running smoothly ever since.
I try not to call stuff 'cheap' because that implies that it is poorly made, or 'sub-par', I would use inexpensive instead. But this, this is a cheap product.
