The GEL-PATRIOT 4 is perfect for beginner runners, providing support and cushioning through a compression moulded EVA midsole, shaped ankle and a secure heel fitting to lock your foot in place. These running trainers have a mesh pannelled upper to allow breathability and feature AHAR (Asics High Abrasion Rubber) placed to critical areas of the sole to heighten durability.

i really love the runners. this pair is great. i am every day in training, 1.5 - 2 hs, may be odd w-end - off. so i change my runners @ 2 times a year, - those that are used in gym only. this particular pair i bought for my gym purposes. i do half- weight training- half - cardio, so i tried to balance the comfort for these puropses. normally i would go for Reebocks that are perfection for me in the fitting and flexibility department, - but i am really considering this pair as the rivals'of Reebock! why i bought this pair u may ask me- i normally buy 2-4 pairs in advance, i like to stock up, - so i can use the ones that not for the gym- for walks, every day routine things or my mum can take any pair that in my storage- as we are the same size. plus the price was really amazing! i am having a standard size 7, not wide, nor skinny, just balanced. so the runners are like a 'glove', - foot feels very comfortable, very good and flexi arch support, 'springy'feeling, - interior is lovely and white with purple. if i would be asked - would i buy them again- definite - YES.

My wife has always worn asics, size 4.5 UK/37.5euro/23.5cm. This shoe is considerably smaller than the 3 pairs she owns, and gave her huge blisters on the first walk out. The next pair, bought at a local shop (same size) fit perfectly. Buy with caution. You may buy the same size, but whats on the label may not match the size of the product.

These being on sale meant that I got maximum kudos points with my Mrs. for minimum spend, she swears by this brand. She's an avid net-baller and tells me that these help to prevent ankle injury and fatigue. Although this particular pair aren't specifically for netball, she says they will do the job. She did comment how much they breath, meaning that during the recent cold months she could feel the cold through the fabric a lot more than with other trainers. I'm assuming this would be a great thing indoors and during warmer periods. Also a good thing if you suffer from sweaty feet etc. They look good too - highly recommended. Thanks Amazon, great price too!
