The ASICS GEL-KAYANO continues to be the top selling ASICS running shoe and the latest update has been developed to encourage the most efficient and comfortable ride yet. This version is also the lightest GEL-KAYANO ever thanks to a premium, two-density sole which offers a softer feel when running on hard surfaces. The Guidance Line is a groove which runs the length of the shoe’s sole. It focuses the weight of the runner’s every step encouraging a smoother, more efficient ride that results in less fatigue and wasted energy. Comfort is a major focus of every ASICS shoe. The GEL-KAYANO features memory foam around the heel and tongue personalising the shoe to the wearer’s foot, giving a snug fit for comfort and reducing risk of injury, while a 5.5mm X-40 ComforDry Sockliner gives extra cushioning and a healthier in-shoe environment.

I had purchased the 16 previously and was super happy with the fit.

I just started training myself regularly so i had to buy appropriate shoes. I may say that this shoes are PERFECT. Usually i have problems even with sport shoes just by walking, every time I have blisters or wounds, but this shoes makes my feet feel amazing and comfortable. The sizing is right , i'm EU38 and i bought first UK5.5 but i returned them because they were to big, and the final version is UK5 and my feet have space in order to feel ok during my exercise work. Definitely I recommend this product!

My previous pair of running shoes were also Asics, but they only cost about £35. As soon as I started using them for running, however, instead of just the occaisional class at the gym, my feet were torn to shreds. It was clear I needed to get something that suited my feet specifically. I've got a moderatly high instep and my ankles roll in when I run so, after getting some advice, I chose the Kayano 17.
I haven't been disappointed. Blisters are a thing of the past for me and my feet never ache after I've been running. I know that the real benefit of these shoes are the long term ones; in that theyh will help to prevent damage to my knees etc by supporting my feet correctly.
The gel heel is a fantastic feature and moulds to your feet perfectly. It's a bit like having memory foam for your feet! Overall, I'm delighted with them and I'll be running in them until they fall apart. Then I'll buy another pair!

Very bad service
