Following the main principles of the GEL-NIMBUS, the GEL-CUMULUS 13 is lighter, but maintains a high level of cushioning and comfort. The shock absorption of the GEL Cushioning System in the rearfoot and forefoot improves the level of cushioning and comfort, while the Trusstic System gives the shoe structural integrity and support. The GEL-CUMULUS 13 also features gender specific cushioning, to give the most comfortable ride for the male runner, which is also enhanced by the Impact Guidance System (IGS) – ASICS Design Philosophy – that employs linked componentry that emphasises the foot’s natural gait from heel strike to toe-off.

The Autumn/Winter 2011 ASICS GEL CUMULUS 13 Running Shoe provides high levels of cushioning for the runner with a neutral foot strike. Provides a soft and protected ride with forefoot and rearfoot visible GEL units combined with a Solyte midsole.

Trainers arrived promptly and in excellent condition. I had tried these trainers on at a local running shop and been advised that these were the best for my running type. They are cushioned trainers and I have had less joint pain since training with these. Plus, they look great!

I dont do a huge amount of outdoor running but wanted some decent trainers for the gym. These are great, snug fit, very comfortable and they keep my feet cool. They seem to be helping my knees a bit too. Highly recommended and a very good running shoe. I bought the black pair and they look nice.
