The new GEL-NIMBUS 13 is the lightest version of the shoe ever, yet provides the most comfortable and cushioned ride for both neutral and under-pronators. The GEL-NIMBUS 13 features a new Guidance Line which encourages the foot to follow the most efficient line of progression, while its Asymmetrical Lacing Design and Personal Heel fit all work to ensure a glove-like fit. The strategically placed stretch material of the Biomorphic Fit Upper - on the upper helps to reduce buckling and the potential for irritation. An improved heel fitting environment and support is given by the exoskeletal heel counter.

Improving even further on the success seen with the GEL NIMBUS 12, this shoe model for the Autumn/Winter 2011 season now includes am updated Gender Specific forefoot cushioning technology in both models providing a weight reduction from the predecessor. Improvements have also been made to the Full-length Solyte 45 for further improvement to comfort.

Brilliant running shoes. I have run marathons, halfs, 10k's, 5k's and train at the gym all the time on the treadmills too. I have used a number of different shoes ranging from the Nike Pegasus', Asics GT-2060's to the Mizuno Wave Riders and these have been by far the best.
I have owned three pairs of these over the years models being the 9's, 11's and now the 13's.
They are ridiculously light (in a good way) compared to previous models and provide great cushioning. I have high arches so I under pronate slightly and have quite a narrow foot - around a C (D is the standard width) and they fit like a glove.
If I can I'll be buying a second pair.
You wont look back if you get these.

I train for 10km races, more or less 45 mins each training session. I weight 80-85 kg and 184 cm so trainers are important for my weight and size. Currently my goal is to do 40 mins in a 10 km race. These trainers are performing great (you must be neutral step for these), more or less 40 km per week. They absorb very well step impacts, and I get no strange pains or feelings on feet knees or any other place. Highly recommended; when they wear out, I will buy again.

I'm not a professional runner at all. My height is 1,93m and my weight 90kg, so I needed a shoe to attenuate the shocks during my runs. I found that these shoes completely fulfill my expectations. It seems like running or walking on sand. And they feel very light and comfortable too. I like them very much.

Longevity
trainers are very good;light and plenty of cushioning.I hope these last longer than my previous Asics. The dog eat them!!!

Enjoy running
After destroying gel nimbus 11 and with a back injury was not a mistake choosing version 13 ... impossible to improve it... it's like a hand in glove.

Best Neutral Shoe Ever
This is my third Gel Nimbus shoes and I swear by them. 600 miles last year and eventually they gave up. Now moved to the Gel Nimbus 13 and are even better. Read more

Recommended
Husband has used these already (got for Xmas) and rates them as good for mixed road/grass training shoe. Light and had Nimbus before.

Nimbus
Very good shoes especially for a heavy runner. The only thing I do not like is that striking white which I did not see good from the computer.
