These running shoes are suited for neutral runners and are the best shoes for over pronaters (which is what I am). I have been wearing the Asic Kayano 16 for 8 months and were the most comfortable running shoes I have worn which my chiropodist/physio had recommended. I have had no injuries since wearing Kayano. I then upgraded to the newer Kayano 17, and the cushioning support seems to have upped a notch without sacrificing my running style. This particular pair has a striking appearance, I love it. Though its very very white! I also have a black pair which is more conservative in appearance.
Last year or so, the Gadget show had Linford Christie testing these shoes (kayano 16 version) against other competitor shoes and gave this a maximum 5 stars, thought you'd might like to know ;)
To be honest, I wish these shoe companies can still give us the option to purchase older models instead of withdrawing them because some new technological modifications can be unwelcome. But thankfully I havent felt that to be the case with this newer model. Have now been running with them for over a month and loving them.
Most recommended.
