Fun:
First of all i would like to say all the other reviews do not do this game any justice.
The game can be a litle confusing at first but one you know what to do it is great fun.

You just need to employ an archivist. Which sorts through all your films, serials and shows.
Meet the boss every monday morning for your weekly review. The majority of the time you get good reviews providing you can keep ratings high and do as he asks.

Ask the execuitives assistant to find you presenters and producers.
Upgrade your buildings, this is important to be a step ahead of the other channels. You need to be making your own programmes and hiring decent people to make them.

Put together the channel listings yourself, rather than employ someone. As the person tends to put on really bad shows. So this way you can choose what you want shown at the time that suits you. Providing you show them at the correct times for example over 12 from 8 pm and 16 from 10 and 18 from 11.

I have not encountered any hackings at my station. I think as long as you keep advertising your channel, complimenting and raising your staffs salary you will have no problems.

A great game if this appeals to you, and you like running your own channel. Definately recommended.

Fun:
Looking at the reviews and product details this looks like an upgraded version of the old 1991 PC and Amiga classic, Mad TV. Only 1 sequel was ever produced and then only in German so I was really looking forward to seeing a similar type of game again. Thanks to the all the other reviewers here giving a balanced view of the game, I might well have found what I was looking for.
