Format:DVD
The previous reviewer wasn't fair. This DVD is clear and well-structured.
The difficulty with AS psychology is selecting what material is important.
This DVD does this job and it does it well.
It is up to you, watching it, to use your brain to figure out how to use in exam.
No resource can answer questions for you. A good analogy is acting as if you are a doctor in surgery being asked a question and you using the info you know to answer it. You can't question-spot easily in this exam.
Its a definite buy on my list and so helpful for revision and a starting point for assignments, particularly the first stages.
Give it a chance! Good luck with your AS.

This dvd seems to be getting some bad reviews but my daughter has found it very helpful. Its all down to individual taste. What works for some, may not for others. For the price, its well worth taking that chance. I bought it with the thought that as long as the information is correct, if it is badly presented it will probably stick in the mind more......mmmm. Well all I can say is my daughter is studying AS psychology and is finding it helpful to revise.

Format:DVD
Don't expect too much from this DVD. They don't seem too sure whether they are teaching you the subject or helping you to revise. It doesn't succeed in either. Use for revision only. It provides a break from reading/revising from books and notes - but is no substitute.

Very well presented
The bad reviews are unfair. At first I did not like it because I was used to BBC, National Geographic type science DVD's with lots of scenery and suspense. Read more
