Format:DVD
This will reinforce a student's revision, it's not a substitute for it - it assumes a reasonably high level of understanding, and it moves quite swiftly across the topics, so if you aren't already familiar with the material, you'll quickly get lost.
It's not an all-singing, all-dancing, entertaining experience.
But I have found that it's a good way of getting my son to revise when he's tired of books - it's an opportunity to absorb the information in another format, and the presenters are clear and not patronising.

Format:DVD
Please do not buy this DVD. The DVD is presented by two very well-meaning but clearly inexperienced persons. The information contained is given as bulletpoint fact with very, very little explanation. There is no animation, no great videos, sketchs or drawings that should bring the topic to life. This is a powerpoint-style format, but not an interesting one, sorry. To the makers, good effort, but sorry. this is just not quality material.

The people teaching in this dvd are just out of uni i think and although what they are teaching is great the way they do it is rigid and slow and dull. BORING

Its a good dvd - not quite USA Standard Deviants quality, but good way to learn!!!
