Product Description

Unmatched Cooling Performance
The Hybrid II 120 combines air and liquid cooling technologies for an extremely efficient cooling solution with 320 Watts- ideal for gamers and computer enthusiasts.

Backside Cooler for Highest Efficiency
ARCTIC has developed and patented a back side cooler for unparalleled VRM and RAM cooling performance. It offers efficient cooling for RAM and voltage regulators and thus does not just allow higher clock rates but mainly increases the graphics card's service life.

Even Better Cooling Performance with Liquid Cooling Solution
This high efficiency liquid cooler installed on the GPU with award winning ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste will lower the temperature of even the most powerful GPU. The heat exchanger maximizes the water contact surface to quickly dissipate heat. The Hybrid II 120 is maintenance free.

Virtually Silent
Its low noise impeller and patented fan holder ensures the fan is ultra quiet even under full load. Thanks to the PWM control, the fan speed adjusts according to the GPU temperature and thus the noise level remains at an absolute minimum.

The Hybrid II 120 features a versatile mounting system that allows this cooler to be the most compatible yet. The compact 120mm PWM fan fits in virtually any case, internal or external.

New Fan Controller
An improved fan controller and the use of additional filters guarantee a smooth operation with both NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards. Through software, the temperature-fan speed curve can be adjusted. You get the temperature and noise level exactly where you want it to be.

I purchased this cooler in order to cool my overclocked nvidia 780 and I must say its doing a hell of a job. I flashed my nvidia BIOS to a zotac amp edition and ran fur mark. Before on the stock cooler I get around 78 degrees now I'm averaging 48 to about 55 ish and the highest it went up to is 62. One down fall is I didn't use the back plate which is pretty big but I ended up buying ram heatsink from eBay and stuck them on. Installation was pretty easy but the screws they give to install the fan onto the rad is tricky unless you have a screw driver that can fit through the fan screw whole.but other than that its a good but for those who are looking for a easy watercooling solution for your gfx card.

This cooler was hard to fit (by hard i mean it is not easy like changing cpu heatsinks) I had a friend who is really good with this kind of thing help me out. The cooler is keeping my 7870LE nice and cool now with a moderate overclock (1.1 ghz GPU). I do have a couple of criticisms though. First, the contact plate for liquid cooling does not cover the ram :-(. It is no secret as the design clearly illustrates it is the aluminium back plate that is meant to cool the ram. However, the aluminium backplate and thermal pads do not cool the ram as much as I would have liked. While my gpu does not get above 60 C now (where before it would reach 89C under stress test) and does so very quietly, the ram temps push into the 80s. There is little information about graphics ram temps online but having spoken to a knowledgeable friend I can put this onto perspective.. A 6950 with a big asus double slot cooler lets the ram get to 90 and this ram is clocked a lot lower then on my card. Therefore this cooler does cool the ram a little but I am not convinced about this design 100% I have a fan at the side of my case that blows onto the card and helps the cooling of the ram. Without this i feel the temps would hit the 90-95 C mark.

In conclusion, this cooler does a good job cooling the GPU (especially as it is not a huge radiator). The radiator gets pretty hot (which it is meant to) but this means that you have to think well about the airflow of your case and your cpu cooler etc. I recommend this cooler, but I do this with a cautionary note on the graphics ram. You need to consider airflow onto your graphics card's ram and you certainly should not overclock you graphics card ram with this cooler. 4/5 from me and yes I am happy. If you want serious (and I mean over the top) cooling then you need to do the whole watercooling thing properly with full water blocks etc. That is however a hell of a lot more money and weight and space).

installed this cooler on one of my two hd9750 i have running on crossfire , so far it work great
the only bad thing about this cooler is the fitting , my god it took me four hours ,
i even had to hacksaw eleven of the cooler fins that fit on top of the g/card so i could get it to fit in
because my crossair memory where in the way , if your good at d.i.y. then you will be happy with it after installing

Works very well. 26 May 2013

I had a issue with my EVGA 550TI getting really hot. (80C ) I have 2 in SLI configuration with each card hitting 80C the inside of my PC case was becoming a oven. I bought 2 of these units put them on an now each card gets up around 35 C. I posted a picture of the radiators an coolers mounted in my case on here. Cooler was not to hard to install. I will agree with others when they say for the price it seems "cheap" for the price that is paid for it.

Nice closed loop! 22 Aug 2012
By Marie Daniels - Published on Amazon.com
This is a very nice closed loop system for your graphics card. I bought this from the other guy much cheaper, 99% of the time I buy from amazon. I put this on my GTX 560 and noticed a huge difference, at least 22c less when playing games, yes overclocked. Few things to take note. First make sure your case has the room and you take your time with the heat sinks and such. Pay attention to the 4 options they give you for airflow. I used option C for the best GPU cooling. Takes about 20 minutes.
Here is some of the information that is included that is not mentioned above.

It has a nice copper cold plate.
Can hardly hear the fans but did switch to the SP 120mm cooler master for the rad.
Maintenance-free closed-loop system.
All fans PWM-controlled.
Has a 2 year warranty.

This is a great product, I'm sure the price will come down as it just came out July 27th. I paid $169 and have no regrets. Would do it again in a second. I highly recommend this if your a hard core gamer or have a hot running graphics card.

Make sure you have a clean work area, and lay everything out, have a laptop or tablet/smartphone handy for YouTube videos as well. Check and recheck to make sure you get everything right the first time. Those was the most unforgiving setup I have gone through recently. Don't have it installed on my card yet, will update review once I get this thing burned in.

If you want a great closed loop solution that will fit almost any video card from the last 5 years, this is it. However if you're looking for something plug and play, you're SOL.

This thing stays quiet and keeps my gpu at ambient temps idle, 26-29C, when really pushing my gtx680 it gets to around 60C, and that is after hours of hard gaming. Worth the time it took to install, I like quiet computers and this cooler is waaay quieter than the hair dryer that came with my 680. A must buy if you have the tech know how and the patience.

Quiet! 5 Mar 2013
By Charles - Published on Amazon.com
I applied my Accelero Hybrid to an MSI GTX 560Ti Twin Frozr.

The loudest device in my system is now my hard drive with it's seek noise. The radiator fan is tied in to the analog fan control for the other two case fans. (Previously three, but the radiator/fan assembly took the place of my rear case fan)

Under load, at the lowest fan setting, the card hits about the same temps (60-65) as it did with the stock fans, but without the fan spinup. With thee fan control set to high, it drops drastically to 40-45.

Yes, installation was complicated, but if you don't rush it, it's fine.

So far so good. 12 Jun 2013

Although it does take a while to add this to your video card, once it is together it seems to work nicely. I just put it in yesterday, and my video card temp dropped about 10-30c. My card was overheating on the warm days here, so I have to wait and see if it happens again.
