I was sceptical about this product due to the very low price but purchased it due to other good reviews. Having received the fan I'm sorry to say it is completely useless, it simply doesn't create ANY airflow. Holding the fan you can feel a slight amount of airflow on your hand but none whatsoever at where you are pointing it, ie the face. As for the mist it's supposed to create even when the fan is on it simply squirts a jet of water. A water pistol would have been a much better investment. Total waste of money.

I didn't read the review before I bought - can't think why because they would have saved me money! It's true - once the battery goes in, you need a sharp knife to prise it out again. I couldn't really get the mister to work. You'd be better off buying a cheap fan and separate spray bottle from Superdrug for 50p!

I use mine on the plane when sitting waiting to take off surrounded by ripe holiday makers ! It just does enough to waft away those unpleasant smells and cool me down.
