Barbara Woods is an experienced teacher of Psychology GCSE, and author of numerous bestselling Psychology textbooks.
Vicky Carrington is an experienced GCSE and A level teacher, examiner, and Head of Psychology at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School. Vicky has worked in both school and adult education and helped develop access courses for Psychology. She also works to promote best practice in Psychology teaching through training events, Psyonline and the ATP helpline.
Nigel Holt is Senior Lecturer at Bath Spa University. Nigel has taught at GCSE and is an experienced A level examiner. An active researcher, he has published a wide range of textbooks in Psychology for AS, A2 and undergraduate students.
Rob Lewis has twenty years' teaching experience in Psychology. He has held senior examining posts at AS and A level with several major exam boards and continues to be involved in specification development and INSET training at a senior level.

This book is brilliant. Easy to use, mirrors the AQA spec, and has fun and interesting activities for students to complete as they work their way through the book. It is up to date and has a brilliant teacher resource pack to compliment it. The layout is really good and includes key terms, exam questions and a breakdown of the specification at the start of each chapter. I am a Psychology teacher, and have been teaching GCSE for over 15 years now and have never taken to a book like I have to this one. Definitely recommend it. All of my students have purchased a copy, and they find it easy to use.

This book is great. It follows the AQA specification really clearly and is pitched at the right level. It is really colourful with a thoughtful layout and includes loads of useful activities. It has been written by experienced authors so i will definately continue using this book and highly recommend it!

I purchased this book as a guide for my AQA GCSE psychology. I also own to other psychology books (Psychology, A Complete GCSE Course and Psychology for GCSE level), however this book was not as descriptive as the Psychology: A Complete GCSE Course and was not as colourful as the Psychology for GCSE Level. Therefore I returned the product back to amazon for a refund.
Overall I prefer using the two books which I own for revision instead of this one, although the materials covered in this book do actually cover the AQA syllabus for Psychology, it was not just my preferred type of the way how the topics are illustrated and presented in this book.
I highly recommend the combination of the two books, Psychology: A complete Course and Psychology for GCSE Level for use as a revision guide for the AQA Syllabus exams.
Overall I prefer using the two books which I own for revision instead of this one, although the materials covered in this book do actually cover the AQA syllabus for Psychology, it was not just my preferred type of the way how the topics are illustrated and presented in this book.
