This is one of two textbooks available for the AQA B specification (the other one is published by Hodder). This textbook has the advantage that it's endorsed by AQA, so pay very careful attention to the examiner's stips and the hints that are in the boxes at the sides of the pages. It's a very detailed book, so not for everyone. I find that my stronger students tend to prefer this book. The Inferential stats in the Methods section is incredibly detailed, albeit well written - experience of exams and exemplar material so far suggests that this level of detail is not going to be required in exams. However as it's in their textbook, unles you're a gambler, you may well interpret this as meaning you should know it. Impossible in the time available unless you really love stats. We need the specification to be more explicit about what they require for stats please.

I have to say.. my teacher was on about this book to help me through my A2 Psychology Course and all I can say is that it is truely a fantastic book, full of information complete with each topic I am going through on my course.
