Format:Paperback
To be honest, because the spec is so specific (i.e.- the texts involved) I bought this to aid me in my anthology section. However, although some notes proved to be very useful, not all texts where covered and maybe because of the spec again, there were novels and texts that did not relate to me and I found it of little use after Unit 1 Question 2. The Unit 2 part was not really helpful at all as I focused on other novels rather than what I had to do for coursework- "Edgar Allan Poe" and "The Big Sleep". But hey, if you have to buy a revision guide for English, whats better than to have one even slightly relating to what you are studying because the notes that were relevant were good.

This revision guide is absolutely amazing. It has great exam tips and coursework plans and I also learnt key linguistic terms from the guide that I had not been taught in class. I was so pleased with it that I went on to buy the A2 one.
