I bought this book to help with AS Accounting exams. There is some good information but a lot of it is basic and does not go into enough detail. There are exam questions at the end of each chapter but they do not say how many marks they should be and there are no example answers. There are also no answers to the worked examples that make up 80% of the book. With no teacher guide available with the answers I cannot see how this can be helpful?

I bought this text book in the full knowledge of having read the poor reviews! Why? I needed a text book that is 'exclusively endorsed by AQA'.The text is fine & the worked examples are useful, BUT I find it incredible that anyone could launch a text book that provides no solutions to the 'examination style questions' set at the end of each chapter. Note also, that these are 'examination style questions' and not actual examination examples. 'Buyer beware' as they say!

I brought this book to help me with my Accounting A Level expecting it to have answers for the questions, however unless your school uses this book as the coursebook it's impossible to get the answers to the questions online. For me this makes the book worse than useless. Try Frank Woods Business Accounting, a bit heavyweight but does contain answers unlike this one. Very disappointed.

Littered with mistakes
Not only does this book have no answers (what are AQA thinking of?) it is littered with errors....no use for anyone hoping to study this subject.

Not a bad book, but as others have said there are no answers to the questions. In addition to this there are numerous mistakes all the way through the book. Read more
