Simple, utilitarian, but essential.
With more and more of our lives, personal and business becoming electronic it is easy to assume that electronic data will somehow exist for ever - but it doesn't. A hard disk crash, corruption and other issues can occur from the simple problem of a powercut. A UPS is therefore vital to help protect data.
This product is simple and easy to use - plug into wall, plug up to 4 devices into it and turn on - you have roughly 20 minutes of battery power during a power cut.
You can also do intelligent shut-down for example with a Netgear NAS - plug it into the UPS and it will shut down carefully.
Easy to use, small and discrete - easy to use in home or office. Worth buying.

I bought this because I kept getting power cuts in my house and this meant that I kept losing music that I compose in my home studio. I bought this one because it can handle all the gear I have, with the exception of speakers and power amps, which I connect directly to mains. It can easily handle two computers, keyboards and synthesizer modules, a digital drum kit, LCD monitor, printer and few small devices like webcams and hobs as well. So far I had no issues with it as it does its job flawlessly and also as a bonus I can use it as a master power switch, which saves me switching off every single device on my studio.

It is not cheap but for some reason APC are the industry standard in UPS's.

This is a big AMAZON goof! (not the fault of APC)
(so, on this product: APC is 5-STAR, AMAZON is 1-STAR)

This SUA750I is an "International" model.
(that last character in "SUA750I" is a capital letter "I" for "International")
The source voltage on this international unit is 220VAC-240VAC only.

So, the 110VAC-120VAC model is:
"APC SUA750 6-Outlet Standalone Smart Uninterruptible Power Supply (750VA, 5-15R)"

It's available right here direct from AMAZON and, as of this writing, is 25 USD less!

AMAZON needs to do at least three things regarding this and TONS of similar issues:

1. Provide a comprehensive, store-wide product rating system differentiating product quality
issues from those of shipping, vendor, AMAZON site I/F, etc. issues.

2. Exercise FAR more diligence in providing and maintaining accurate product
descriptions, tech specs, photos, etc.

3. Fix their VERY messy, duplicitous, inaccurate, illogical search engine / interface / data base(s).

AMAZON's Mr. JB needs to come in off the golf course, stop playing with his Kindle for a moment,
and apply a bit more biz & personal responsibility in this little billion-dollar, low-overhead,
easy-to-do-right, ethereal (can't see, can't touch) product market!

The seller did not indicate that the product was the international version rather than the US version so I was unable to use it and unable to return it for a reasonable cost.
