The e2795Vq will be the centre of your multimedia set-up. The Full-HD model offers a large screen diagonal of 68.6 cm and a wide array of connectors. With DisplayPort, D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI ports as well as a USB hub, connecting computers, webcams, pen drives or Blu-ray players couldn’t be simpler. The e2795Vq boasts a contrast of 1200:1 and 300 cd/m2 luminance and a response time of only 2ms. For the price I think there is no better 27in LED monitor. Connects very easily with HDMI and works straight out of the box. I installed the iMenu software from the supplied CD - it works very well once you change the language from Chinese to English! This method of adjusting the screen settings works much better than the OSD and button along the bottom egde of the screen as they are quite fiddly.
The default screen settings needed some adjustment for contrast/brightness and colour. A quick google reveals settings that I found excellent for both PC work and playing videos.
A few simple adjustments in the onscreen menu can improve thing:-.
First, set the colours to "User" mode, the set
"Red" to 39,
"Green" to 37 and
"Blue" to 50.
Next change the gamma from "Gamma 1" to "Gamma 3".
Finally, to get decent contrast, change this setting from 50 to 70.
There was one dead pixel that 'fixed' itself following these adjustments...
I also like the 4 port USB hub and Screen+ software supplied on the CD that splits the screen into different panes.
All in all a very good monitor for the price.

This screen is really good; I have no complains about it whatsoever. The stand on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired: it is a crappy weak plastic holder with one setting only, so no height adjustments can be done (the monitor is currently sitting on top of a stack of books), and worst of all, the entire monitor wobbles around when I touch the desk. Seems like a stupid place to skimp.

having researched (and at times confused myself) many screens for size and the technological wizardry surrounding them I chose this screen. The 29'' looks so much bigger that it is ugly for general home use. I find this is perfect for both movie viewing and working with documents. Very pleased with it and feel it is a great price compared to the so called big names.
