HUGE bang for your buck here. Seems to out do my Core i3 3110M @2.4GHz in my laptop. It's not a true quad core as it only has 2 floating point modules. However it gives much much better performance than hyper threading, hence why AMD are probably marketing it as quad core.

Only problem is the stock cooler. It's rather noisy. I'd recommend a Zalman CNPS5X Performa heat sink for it. It keeps it nice and cool - basically room temperature when idling. It fits micro ATX boards and fits snugly in my Fractal Design Core 1000 USB 3.0 case.

To get the correct temps, I needed to download AMD OverDrive which displays the temp difference to overheating (90C from what I guess) When idling, it gets to approx 60C away from over heat (90-60=30), so the real temp is approx 30C. When under load for 15 mins with prime 95, it gets to approx 25-35C from overheat, which means it maxes out at approx 55-65C.
These checks where done when the CPU was running at 3.6GHz, undervolted to 1.10V. Turbo core was also disabled. I haven't tried overclocking properly yet though but there certainly seems to be head room.

What you get in the box:
CPU
Fan and heat sink with bracket and layer of thermal paste.
STICKER!!!!!
Multi language instruction booklet.

Summary:
For £59 you can't go wrong! Just put the money saved to a half decent cooler!

This is a great CPU I used in my first build and have used it in most of my others since! It is very cheap for what you get. I overclocked mine to 4ghz and it is very fast for what you pay

this is a great cpu.I purchased this in order to upgrade my computer and it is amazing. Everything runs a lot faster now with this cpu compared to the pentium d which i used to have. This cpu probably has more power than i am ever going to require ,but it is just nice to know that i have that power if i ever need it.I would recommend this cpu as being a good cpu for anyone who wants a decent amount of power for a decent price

I'm using this in my current build and is really great, if you are going to over clock please use a aftermarket cooling system which I would strongly recommend because stock AMD heat sinks are not the best!
