The case was serviceable in terms of shape, look and cover of the device, and the my Kindle was held snugly in it - even if the elastics that hold it in looked a little thin, like they might stretch out or give way quite quickly.
On the whole, I would have been happy with the product were it not for the smell. When it arrived, mine stank overpoweringly, a fishy, garbage-like smell (some people will remember glue in school smelling like this).
I am fairly robust about annoyances and decided to try and live with it, in the hope it would wear off or I would become less aware of it. Sadly, I found this didn't happen - I found myself using my kindle less and less because it was just... unpleasant to hold it and be near it.
I decided that I would bin it or return it and chalk it down to false economy - I will say that looking around the reviews (and others which are the same product by another name) it appears I'm not alone - some people get the smelly ones, some don't.
I'd say if you get one without the nauseating smell, it'd be excellent - if not, don't try and live with it, send it back.
