The advert stated that the unit can be connected direct to the hose, great I thought. What it didn't state was that once connected water would spray out of every connection and joint. I had to apply sealant to all the joints and water repellent silicone grease to the bushes, this slowed down the progression of water. I will have to try and tape the joints next in a final attempt to seal the unit, not quite the thing to do to a brand new product. The squeegee was supplied with a washer, the brush was not, this meant that the brush unscrewed itself cascading water downwards. The brush also seems too large for the unit, making it unmanageable at full length. Apart from that it's usable.

I purchased this item after reading the previous reviews. Where do I start? When using at height, the brush/squeegee eventually unscrews and falls off when cleaning the windows (due to the motion). I connected the hose to the base of the extendable pole & used the on/off valve to isolate prior to me using. I turn on the outside tap & discovered that the on/off switch was leaking/spraying out water, I then opened this valve & found the all the joints up the pole also leaked & sprayed out water. The squeegee was completely useless & smeared the water over my windows, making them look worse. DO NOT BUY - AVOID!!
PS: I got soaking wet through using this equipment. My wife thought it was funny though - that's why it gets 1 star!!

It arrived about three hours ago and now lays broken in the garden.
On the plus side my conservatory roof is clean and half of my greenhouse roof.
On the downside the big weakness is around the operator handle - firstly the plastic hose pipe union kept falling out - not becoming unscrewed but just pulling out of the threads. A generous application of PTFE tape helped a bit but not completely. In an hour's worth of use I have had to screw it back in three or four times.
That's the hose end of the operator's handle. The join between the handle and the aluminium tube has fallen apart - just pulled out and it will take a "bodge" to get it back together - and I am in two minds about even attempting it.
It works - it's far from perfect and I am highly suspicious of any rating higher than two stars.
If you buy one try not to hold the operator's handle when using it - the weight of a 10 foot tube full of water with a brush at the far end places great stress on this piece - the design of the join makes it bound to fail sooner or later.
Caveat Emptor applies...

Broke on first use

telescopic brush

connection fitting not good
the brush set is ok but the water hose fitting is not good as you get wet through from the conection my plan is to find a better connection so it makes this set perfect
