this is a solid enough release from Alpha Blondy. Working with Sly and Robbie has added a new edge to much of the tracks on here and his evident melodic talents shine through. There are a lot of songs on this CD and a little quality control may not have gone amiss in patches. The reggae version of 'Wish you were here' actually works and anyone brave enough to stick bagpipes on a reggae album gets my vote!!

The wish you were here cover drew me in and made me want to check out the rest of the album. It's all good fun, I have no idea what the french lyrics are about half the time, but it's all good :D

To begin with this was a birthday gift from my brother who knows that I love
reggae and specially in other languaje, (french), also the cover and the inside pictures are great, it makes me feel like I'm with Alpha.
Also the meaning of the songs try to give us a positive message on every day live.
I truly recomend to purchase this CD, we bought it trought internet,and was very easy to do it. Thanks!. Anabelle.

So i herd "wish you were here" by Alpha Blondie on the radio on Regae Sundays KJEE 92.9fm Santa Barbara and now I think I can either go on living or I can go peacefully cause this is the best version of a pink floyd song I have ever herd. My ears wont stop thanking me and my brain wont stop singing and I cant stop talking about this wounderful version of the best song ever made! I LOVE REGAE!
