I'm not a audiophile, so I think the sound reproduction is quite good and enough for me.
But I have to say, other than this, there are several obvious and severe problems that cannot be ignored.
Firstly, the two parts with the "Q"s on each phone are actually two plastic plates that are attached to the headphones. Unfortunatly, the one on the left phone is quite loose, which means it wobbles, and with every movement of my head, it makes sound which I can hear clearly while listening to music.
Moreover, I ordered a replacement for the 1st one I bought, but I was astonished that the replacement had the exact same problem.(I'm sure it's another pair)
Secondly, also for both the original and the replacement, the in-line remote control does not work with my iPod classic, but I think it's because my iPod is quite old as I got it about 4 years ago. Never tried with an iPhone, but doesn't work with Moto Milestone 2 (Android)as well.
Thirdly, they are a bit tight I think. I don't have a big head, actually some of my friends refer to me when they talk about someone with a small head. But I still think it's tight, but anyway, it depends.
P.S. The very short cable is quite good if you put your mp3 in your inner jacket pocket. The carrying case is good as well.

Firstly, not sure what's up with the price from Amazon, they are under 100 in most places.
Just got this for travelling and they are very portable, fold into a package that is easily pocketable. You also get a sturdy case that's not too big if you don't want to preserve them better. Otherwise use a sock?
You get 1 cable with mic/volume ~1m in lime green (!) which works with Apple devices including iPhone/iTouch 4, if you use a different device the mic might not be recognised. You also get a normal cable ~50cm (also lime!) which is so short it's next to useless. Both are very thin (for portability?) that does raise questions as to their life expectancy. I'm buying a thicker, longer (1m), black replacement cable.
The on the ear closed design works and does isolate you from the background noise pretty well; they won't beat active noise cancelling but they work well for me. I find them confortable considering I prefer over the ear versions.
How do they sound? I compared them against AKG K141, Beyerdynamic 235, Sennheiser HD600 and in-ear Sennheiser CX 500, 400, 300 II and 300 original on amp, laptop, Cowon MP3 player and various phones.
If you like bass and "lively" music you'll like them: don't expect (monitor) flat response but for travelling I think it's ideal. They are also pretty sensitive so you don't need to turn the volume to the max to blow your ears off; on the laptop, 10% volume is more than sufficient at home and 20% while travelling so there is plenty left.
If you want something better than in-ear but pocketable for travelling I think these are great; if you have Apple kit they should be worth it, otherwise there's K450 or even K430 for (much) less - though I have not tried them to see whether they sound worse.

I really like headphones great for sound and portability but there are mayor problems with the headphone cables.I have the black and green headphones and within 1 month the cable broke and I had tried to contact akg about this but I did not have the receipt for the headphones as they where bought for me as a present I think they where bought in usa and japan but I had to pay £38.00 for two replacements cables and now they are starting to come apart ,so be aware of this problem because it may cost a lot to keep getting replacement cables.
