I spent a while looking for a book like this. I purchased shortly before a SRV book, and noticed at the back a list of products by the same publisher, and noticed this book. Not only was it Aerosmith, but also for a great compilation album.

It features 30 of their greatest hits such as Dream On, Sweet Emotion, and Walk This Way (Including then DMC version)and spans an entire 40 years of recording and live Music. The Notes are detailed and extremely accurate for both Guitars and features Notation and the simplified Guitar Tab, so even those who cant read music will be able to understand this book. It also features Lyrics and Vocals, for all the screaming wannabes. Perhaps one of the biggest features of the book is it's price, which is £15 (Or $24.95, as it says above the bar code.) They may as well give you the book for free, it's that cheap, as other Music Retailers would probably pay at least 99p for a single piece.

One of my only dislikes about this book (And it's just a personal taste thing really) is that there are few songs which I really like which are not featured in the book. Although, this is really to with the fact that they were not on the CD (Sold Separately, by the way.) Songs like Train Kept a' Rollin, Movin' Out, Nobody's Fault. If you really wanted to learn these songs, don't worry. I bought the music for Train elsewhere for cheap, and I'm pretty sure there's a book for the whole Rocks album. My other complaint is that the notes for Same Old Song and Dance is for the shorter version, featured on there Greatest Hits album. (Even though the full version is featured on the CD.)

These are all the songs you will be receiving if you buy the book, alphabetically.

Back in the Saddle

Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)

What it Takes

(Just to point out, this book does NOT come with the CD to which it accompanies. And if you've come here to buy the CD, this is NOT the CD.)

For what you pay, this is a great bargain, and the songs featured are of great quality. I can definitely see me showing interest in learning almost 20 of these songs, if I had the time. You may want to also pick up the CD if you don't have it, just to get the most of all the notes in this book.
