    Bought this item worried about whether it would work with my NTL silver samsung box as I'd read some reviews saying that it didn't. However it took about 10 mins to set up. The instructions were very clear. I was happy that it would send the video pictures from my cable box to my second tV in the bedroom, but was worried that the remote extender side of things wouldn't work. It worked perfectly. This device is the answer for transmitting NTL signals around your home and being able to change channel at a site remote from the box.

    If you like me have recently subscribed to Virgin media, research carefully before purchasing this item.
    Picture and sound is great but it does NOT transmit channel changes via the digi eye when using a Scientific Atlanta 4200 top box.
    ps Support from AEI is not too clever either.....when they answer the phone!!
    If in doubt buy from Argos and take it back if it wont work

    The picture and sound quality is excellent if the sender and receiver are located in the same room or through a paper thin wall. However in my own house (a modern house, so the ceilings/floors are very thin) I couldn't get a clear picture with the boxes 5m apart with no electronic devices in between, only the floor between the ground and 1st floor of my house.

    The hype in the instructions about how far the signal will reach is basically a complete exaggeration.
