I was enchanted by a strange mix of monstrous and angelic vocals, a sense of calmness and uneasiness in one tight package. Backed up my inventive metal riffs, soothing piano work, and frantic and subtle drumming, it enthralled me.
I am new to the whole goth-metal scene, listening to other bands moan about their problems while thrashing out power chords. On hearing the name, i immediately though 'oh no not another goth clone'. I was obviously wrong.
It takes influence from mythology, fairy tales and legend, working with the figure of 'woman.' (thus the titles of casandra, venus etc...) I would definately recomment this album to anyone. Its such a varied mix that anyone could like it.

If they were doing good with the first album, in 'Velvet Darkness they fear', they really improved, but this is the best they've ever done. Maybe guitars are on a second plane now in favor of the electric sounds, but they even sing much better, and all the songs bring more feelings. The production of the album couldn't be better. I recommended to everyone who has a clue of them. It's fascinating!

This album is beyond good, beyond extraordinary, beyond words, so I won't mess around too much. From the first time I listened to it I felt like jumping around with joy, you see, I had found the perfect gothic record for my tastes and moods. Months of listening later I still feel the same way, so now I am buying the Japanese edition which has a few extra songs. If you are into gothic rock this album will rock your world, it's just too good, you've just got to buy it now, dont' think about it, tell you what, flame me if you think I steered you wrong, alright ? Enjoy
