5.0 out of 5 stars Cute, Usable and it can pack a punch! 13 Sep 2008
By Helen
Wow!

The reason I brought a note book was so that I could access my emails on the move via BT Openworld, and perhaps manage an Access file or too. I like the price, my palmtop I don;t get on with so really wanted to try something that was still portable.

All I can say is Wow - mine came installed with works, but I have took that off and added Word, Access, Excel and Outlook via an external hardrive... I connected it with ease to my home network and was able to print and I have now even loaded dreamweaver on it to update web sites on the move. It is faster than my home PC - incredibly light and looks so cute.

This is a market area I cam not going to watch... with a home network this is the perfect "Laptop" for children, yet it is also more than adequate for adults too and the screen in amaxingly clear too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Mini Wonder. 20 Oct 2008
By Jambles
Yes, a Wonder. I have had this piece of kit now for about three weeks and use it constantly. I deccided to go for the xp world of net books as Linux would not support some of the programs I use. I can honestly say my lap top has pretty much retired.
I use it to surf the web, check emails and write movie scripts. The keyboard was a bit of a worry, but now I can use very little movement to type long pieces of text due to the small size. The added intergrated bluetooth has been a suprisingly good touch. Easy networking via that as much as wifi or cables. With 80gig's of space, it's more than enough room to download or upload files.

A few things that could be better would be the battery life. I get around 2.5 hours. But then I am using the net and a few other programs running along with it. There is no back light for the key board and with the screen size it does not compliment low lighting and lastly, remember this is windows. I say this as if you have windows and you are taking it online, which obviously you will... then you will need an anti virus! Which given the fact that there is no disk drive... Could be a pain in the... advent!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it 28 Sep 2008
By lolly
I really dithered about buying a mini..... shoudn't have worried. I love it. As the previous reviewer, I installed Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Also loaded my school software. Its really light and the 10 inch screen is fine. I also like the keyboard and haven't found it awkward at all.

It even fits in my handbag.... OK its quite a big bag, but I haven't got aching shoulders anymore.
A great buy,
