Hello

Yes, you can read pdf, doc, xls and ppt files wit no issues.

You can also edit them by buying an app such as Quickoffice Pro.

Dear Derek,

Please click MYPAD folder (on bottom left of home screen) and select SD1. SD1 will contain all the sd card files. Select any file, COPY and go to LOCAL folder and PASTE them in local folder.

Hope this info helps.

Any further questions, please contact us via amazon contact system.

Thank you for that, but it would appear a problem has arisen with the battery. i have noticed that if i am using the pad while it is on charge it never seems to reach a full charge, and the green charge light goes off. Secondly, yesterday it was on charge for over 11 hours, only got to 85% full, i switched the pad off at 21.30 hours and this morning at 08.30 there was only 18% charge left. Surely this is not normal?
any suggestions? Thank You.

Dear Derek,

There has always been a confusion about turning off tablet and about turning it to standby. If you hold the POWER button for 2-3 seconds, tablet goes to standby (screen becomes darker) and it leads to confusion that tablet was turned off while, in fact, the tablet is in STANDBY mode. Please POWER OFF the tablet by pressing and holding the POWER button for about 5 seconds and you see POWER OFF symbol on screen. Please slide it upwards and tablet will POWER off.

Please plug it to charging while tablet is OFF and that would resolve the problem.

Please contact us via amazon contact system and we shall be able to assist you further.

A1CS X220 TABLET 10.2" ANDROID 2.2, WIFI, MIFI, HDMI, 1080P, GPS WITH CAM
I am interested in using this product as a media player and photo storage when connected to a portable mini Hard Drive fitted via one of the USB ports, is it a simple matter of connecting a card reader to the second USB port to transfer images from SDHC cards to the Hard Drive?
Thanks in advance.

Does this come with a webcam and can you make skype calls?

GAN says:
Dear Harper,

The tablet neither reads USB hard drives nor works on skype video chatting. This is down to android OS with regards to hard drives and to skype compatibility with regards to video chatting.

We eagerly hope to find alternative solutions in this case. However, the tablet does read USB pen drives (flash drives).

Hi. I've just bought the A1csx220 Tablet. One of the uses I'd hoped to make was Skyping relatives in australia using the video call feature. How would i do this?
