About the Author
Susan's life revolves around music and mayhem. For many years she worked as a freelance trumpeter in the Boston area and taught music at Brown University and Berklee College of Music. Inspired by a writing course at Emerson College, she began writing crime fiction.The Premier Book Awards named her first novel, Absolution, Best Mystery-Suspense-Thriller of 2009. After living in New Orleans for nine years, Susan now divides her time between The Big Easy and Boston. Her suspense thrillers feature New Orleans police detective Frank Renzi.
