A good book, helping the medical and non medical staff involved in palliative care to improve their attitude toward patient and patient family in difficult moments of life, as necessity of palliative care is part of life, even if in the end of it or in difficult illness.
The book is addresed mainly to the ones managing the medical intervention, doctors, nurses and care staff, leaving somehow uncovered the psychological needs of the person who receive the care. Also, the role of family component and society ivolvement in the care of the person who receive the palliative care is not very clear.
As i am a nurse, all my needs regarding when and how i will adjust my medical atitude in the event that i will give palliative care to my costumers are satified and im happy that i purchased the book.
