This guide was as useful as a chocolate teapot. We did not even bother to take with us after purchasing it. Of its 174 pages, over 35 pages cover Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, not what you really want in a guide book on Furteventura. A lot of the content appears to have been copied from the "AA Map and guide to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura", which is more useful, as it contains a large map of the island.
Guidebooks are typically used by the curious travellers, who want to explore, but information on public transport is skipped over, and discounted as a means of exploring the island. In fact the opposite is true; with careful planning you can explore a lot of the island by its fast, comfortable and cheap bus service(1 Euro from the airport to Puerto del Rosario). See www.tiadhe.com, where you can review route plans and timetables. There is a distinct lack of street maps of the resorts and towns to enable you to find your way around, as unfortunately street signs are not that common.
