Reasonable as far as it goes. However there are notable omissions of several excellent hotels.

Is this because the AA will not list those hotels who are unwilling to pay to be included in the Guides pages?

A comprehensive list of hotels throughout the UK, useful for an initial identification. The quality of the hotel needs to be assessed with great care using the information in the book and that which is not mentioned.
