We purchased this book prior to a 2 week family villa holiday in the Algarve and found it compact & concise with lots of tips and ideas on what to see and do as well as opening times, when to visit etc. with handy maps too. A great buy for tourists who are looking something for more than just a beach holiday and want to experience the history and culture of the area.
good all round guide book , because of it's size it'll easily fit in a back pocket or small hand bag ,will tell you everything you need to know to get along ie best places to eat/stay etc only critisism is not enough maps could of done with some street maps of major towns we visited but still helped us out a lot
