I have a driveway with a fairly steep slope. It's necessary to keep snow shovelled off it because once the snow becomes packed down it becomes slick and can no longer be easily shovelled. Freezing rain causes the same problem - driveway is icy and can't be shovelled. So I tried this AA salt. Just shovel off the loose snow, sprinkle the salt, and problem solved. The product is white, so there is no discolouration of drive, walkways, etc.
