This mat seems pretty durable and works great as a cutting surface for crafting stuff from paper and cardboard. It's a bit sticky and doesn't slide on the desk. I would like it more if it was less glossy and had helper lines for cutting at various angles, not just square grid. Overall, it's still a great product considering the price.
My only real complaint is that it seriously could be stored with more care at the warehouse. The cardboard part of the packaging must have been wrapped inside and put between two mats. As a result, my mat has an ugly indentation around two inches from the edge and three deep marks where the staples dug in. It doesn't really compromise the usability, but the damage is visible and looks crappy.
