This machine really rocks. It is a sturdy quality product and does everything I want and more. It's not an iPad killer but doesn't need to be as it stands alone. Why anyone would fork out three times the price for a tablet where you can't expand the memory and are stuck with only what the Big A will allow you to have beats me. It's very fast, comes with a good selection of apps and access to the Android Market. It has a nice folio case thrown in and tomorrow I'm going to get a prepaid sim for my Huawei dongle from my old netbook and try the 3g option. If it's as good as the wireless connection to my BT Broadband it should present no problems. Screen resolution and colours are great and the touch function can only be described as excellent. Speakers are adequate if you're watching a video or BBC iPlayer in a quiet room but it comes with a set of earphones anyway which are well up to the job. It beats me how a tablet of this quality can come in at the price but boy am I pleased it does. Delivery was fast and packing A1. If you're looking for a quality tablet that will put a lot of it's more expensive counterparts to shame then you've found it in the A1CS 8" Android 2.3
ADDENDUM
I've had the tablet for a few days now and had a chance to put it through it's paces since my initial review.
I simply can't believe how fast it is and how responsive the screen is.
It feels solid and well built in the hand and the G-sensor is super fast. No flimsy flexing or greasy fingermarks on the casing as it's matt rather than glossy and solidly built - a big plus in keeping it looking tidy.
The screen is the perfect size for ebooks and if you're into arcade games the super fast processor and screen quality will blow you away. My mobile is a Dell Streak which I thought was the bees knees till I got my hands on this. I'm used to an Android phone and there are a few quirky differences with the tablet (A bit like using a six speed gearbox after being used to a five speed). No matter though as the after sales support is second to none and they'll hold your hand every step of the way. A lesson in customer support the "big boys" could learn a lot from.
If you're an Android user then you'll already know how good a tablet with this OS and processor speed will be. If you're new to Android and tablets then rest assured this is as good as you'll get even if you pay twice the price.
Finally the extras. For the few extra pounds the leather keyboard folio case and car charger will turn your tablet into a go anywhere touchscreen netbook that will turn heads wherever you are. Just keep quiet about the price and your friends will think you've won the lottery.

My experience of Android tablets had been let down by another seller of over 3 weeks waiting and in the end decided to pull the plug and get my refund, glad I did because within the next breath I had researched the A1CS 8" Android 2.3 Tablet and decided to buy and to wait. Wait I did not ordered on Thursday delivered Saturday morning, why can other manufacturers do the same as A1CS can do. After the initial charging of approx 4 hours I set the tablet up, it came with Android market already on it and with the tablet came a case and screen protector which others don`t supply. A1CS go the extra mile to make sure that you are satisfied with there products and by golly I was. It is only 8 x 6" but feels in your hands much bigger and has a bezel edge which makes it look the business. I had not had a wireless product before as my laptop was used from my desk PC. So set about the tablet with my wireless router within a couple of minutes the tablet had found my wireless signal and was on the Internet reading my own website. Now for the 3g set up, I got myself an o2 dongle for mobile broadband and Sim card topped up with £10 put in the settings and away we went. Now I can get on the Internet wireless and for when I cant find a wireless signal will be able to use 3g broadband as this was more important for me when driving out and about. I Highly Recommend A1CS for the whole package service and delivery. The 8" Tablet is nothing but a dream so easy to use and set up forget the ten inch tablets try this one you will not regret it and for the money you will not be able to find one as good.

Bought this item for my wife, although after using it for a number of hrs i am very tempted to buy another one for myself!!
Item is very well packaged and looks high quality which is good seeing as it is a present. Came with a free leather effect case and also UK plug unlike other tablets that are shipped from china.
The casing is a really nice soft plastic which is actually IMO nicer than the shiny IPAD case, but not quite as neat geometrically compared with the IPAD but still A+
Charged the item for 3-4hrs and powered it up, very fast boot under 1min. Screen was not working correctly to start with, but after a quick email to A1CS found button to calibrate screen and is working great now. For anyone else wondering, hold down menu (far right) on home screen for about 20sec and calibration screen comes on, 5 accurate clicks later all done :)
The best feature of this tablet is its speed, it is so much faster than my SE Xperia X10 which is like a tortoise in comparison!
Screen is the only reason this did not get 5*. It is great, clear, bright and good resolution. But the touch is not as good as my phone or an IPAD but for £170 it is still excellent and completely usable. I found either the stylus or the back of you nail works best. Dont have any reservations about this though so not really a negative, just would be nice to be a little better.
Came with android 2.2 as A1CS indicated that there are a few bugs still with 2.3. To be honest it is still ahead of my Xperia which is still on 2.1. Again nothing really to complain about here.
Connected to WIFI really well and no problems at work over 75m away from AP still worked a treat!
Connected to market easily as i already had a google account because of my phone.
The pre-installed driving game is excellent and really fluid no jerkiness here. iPLAYER from BBC was a little jerky on full resolution but i think this is my broadband connection.
Overall do not hesitate to buy from A1CS nothing short of excellent customer service!! Oh and watch YOUTUBE for fitting the screen protector as 1st one i did i screwed up, there a few tricks to getting it down 100% with no bubbles.
