Although this is a fairly small toy and not made of the best hard wearing materials it has caught my two year olds imagination and we had to play with it a lot over Christmas as he loves it. It is good as it teaches turn taking, basic colours and social interaction and is fun, quick and easy to play. The little plastic aliens are a fun and light weight alternative to marbles. I would reccommend it although it won't last long but it is a good price for what it is.

I have fond memories of kerplunk and wanted to buy it for my kids but didn't like the look of the new version. Instead I found this. It was pretty cheap so I wasn't expecting too much but it turned out to be a good buy. It's fairly small (and therefore easily stored) but big enough for both kids and adults to play with. It's simple to set up (although the pins do slide out a bit easily when flipping it over to start the game) and it's simple to play. It's not the most robust looking toy but it seems strong enough for it's purpose. The spaceship design and little aliens are nicely done. My four year old loves it and it's a good game for him to play against his big brother and parents without being at a disadvantage. It's also cheap enough to buy for a birthday present for the endless birthday parties that kids of his age go to, so if it comes back in stock, I plan to buy more.
