Don't often write reviews, but how could I not tell you that I think this is one of the best albums I've heard in years. And since no one has reviewed yet I can only assume they're busy, trapped, listening to this on repeat. I'm listening to it whilst reviewing it ;-) It's caught me this one, I can't stop playing it. To me it has the same magic appeal Free All Angels had all those years ago (and 1977 - and now I feel bad for not mentioning Meltdown which had the same effect on me). Really uplifting bounce-around-your head summery tunes, with Ash's unique style. I hope Ash keep knocking out tunes like these forever - I don't know why but I feel sort of nostalgic when I hear them. Anyway, well done and thanks guys once again for yet another masterpiece, and a DIY job too! You've kept me quite a cheery fella for 15 years now..

Fantastic stuff. Their recent form had been a bit variable and I initially missed the first releases in the Alphabet series (which are being published every other week throughout the year), picking up only at Space Shot. Within this collection of the first half of the alphabet series stand outs are Space Shot, Arcadia, Command, Neon, Dionysian Urge...hang on, this is turning into rather a long list.
In my opinion there's only really one clunker here so if you're a fan of Ash buy it now and if you're not a fan yet buy it now and be converted.

I've been downloading these singles as they've been released. They're incredibly good. Dionysian Urge, Pripyat, Tracers, True Love 1980 are as good as anything they've ever done before.Joy Kicks Darkness is simply one of the best songs ever. If you aren't downloading these individually as they're released you have to buy this compilation-it's unmissable. I can't wait to hear the next 13 songs in the series.
