Having been a fan of Sarah Brightman since the seventies, I cannot believe I am writing this kind of Review for one of her Albums.
Any fan of Ms. Brightman who has not yet heard this Release - believe me when I say that you really don't want to - trust me! This is absolutely DREADFUL!!! I cannot think how this was ever put on general release after it was played back in the Studios! The music is EXTREMELY loud (overly so) and serves no other purpose but to drown Brightman's voice - which incidentally I think is quite deliberate, in that she has either; lost her voice completely - or something went very wrong in the making of this Album that we don't know about...
The words are completely and totally inaudible - she cannot reach those top notes, her lung capacity seems to have 'shrunk', since you can hear (surprisingly) all too often the sudden intake of breath between words. But worst of all is that she's just a 'squeaky noise' in the (very, very) background of thumping loud music...
With the music in the proper place - and her voice as it used to be; this could have been a sensational Album for Sarah... As it is; you're better off NOT hearing it - EVER! But if like me you're unlucky enough to have heard it once, you will NOT be playing it again - EVER!
This is the most EMBARRASSING Album I have ever heard from a professional Singer!
