Maudie Todhunter realises she will have to sell Moorgate, the lovely farmhouse on Bodmin Moor. Selina, her stepdaughter has never been friendly to Maudie and is not happy to contemplate losing Moorgate. Selina's daughter has always been very close to her step-grandmother and visits Maudie regularly. When prospective buyers begin to look at Moorgate a new set of characters emerge as prospective buyers and there are many surprises in store for the reader. A lovely book; you will keep wanting to read 'just one more chapter' to find out what is happening to everyone and I know you will love it. Full of interesting people and their lives with Marcia Willett's excellent description of the countryside.

A name to remember 9 Jan 2002
Format:Hardcover
Marcia Willett is one of today's most enjoyable writers. She has been described as being in the style of Rosamunde Pilcher and certainly has the same appeal. If you have not read any of her books start here with an excellent opening novel of a new series. I cannot wait for the next one.
