It's a start to getting familiar with the southern sky, the charts were a bit of a disappointment. I feel the authors aimed too low, that they intended this for someone without much experience stargazing in any hemisphere. Not much space devoted to objects of interest, it seems there is a dearth of material on this subject. Hope to travel to the southern hemisphere sooner than later to see these things first hand!

A great book for sky observers with guides to identifying sky objects.
OK for beginners and keen observers.
Definitely recommend this over the older and slightly less expensive eBook of the same title. There are significant improvements.
