I use this book more as an encyclopedia than a typical guidebook for Witches. It is one of the most thorough resources I have found, and is usually the first book I pick up when a magickal need arises!

This book offers a new way to look at history and magick. It's beautiful illustrations and bits of poetry give it life. It has a lot of helpful hints and tidbits, and is a great addition for anyone that wants to expand their views on magick.

I loved this book, it was one of my first introductions to practical magick five years ago. It carries information about things that are hard to find. For example, why the Victorian society behaved in certain ways that seemed to follow christian beliefs, but in reality skirted pagan beliefs as well. Very enjoyable and recommended.
