I was moved to write a short review of this having seen the two star review.
This is a beautifully put together and crafted album: a joy from start to finish, with the Caetano tracks and who covers them carefully chosen.
What is delightful about this album is the combination of Brazil's current stars - Seu Jorge, Ceu - with tasteful Western stars. A loving exploration of Caetano and Brazilian music.

as tributes go this is OK and there are indeed some very good performances although the choice of sings is not always the best. I would rather buy one of the combilation CDs that are currently availabe rather than this one

a beautiful work by Veloso's Lovers! every song is "played" as Caetano would like, and as you would like too! Great musicians, great producers, great sound...thanks to everybody who partecipated here to create this wonderful (re-)work! 5 stars! BUY IT!!!
