Product Description

When did it all change? When did everything fall away? Twins Diana and Dominic are lost in a world that they no longer recognise. Soon they will fall into realms that they never dreamed were.

Jaduar watches. Dominic has caught her interest. Is that all she dare do? Ever since she was a little girl she has had two friends, Viiarsk the demon and Kia the angel. Now Jaduar is a woman with the hunger of her heritage burning inside of her. Jaduar is the daughter of the demon god himself. Yet whose advice is sound? The demons cry why not fight for freedom and love. But an angel sees the need for sacrifice for the great plan must unfold in all its twisted glory because too much depends on that. Even if the cost is torment?

So Jaduar bides her time. The old war between gods and angels has re-ignited. Humankind is once more caught in the crossfire. Could the twins be the key? Or is the question what can tempt the titan from his realm? Jaduar must find her own path for there are three realities to be bridged and who else could become the sky over the demon realm?

Yet Kia is an angel, if not more than that and Viiarsk is a loyal and loving friend. Rare is the demon who dares dream of a different future where freedom is not just the flames that scorch the mortal world. Scarcer still is an angel brave enough to blunt the great plan's sharp corners.

Yet surely there will be a price to pay for such heresies?

3.0 out of 5 stars Read the book (sometime ago). 17 July 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I read the book version many years ago, and have purchased the kindle version and flicked through it again. A fair bit of what I recalled of the story came rushing back to me. For me, this story was not so easy to get to grips with. In particular the changing Worlds (there are three). I did find myself reading back from time-to-time to get my bearings of where I was. However, the story contains some interesting central character names i.e. Aexuco (I pronounced Ax-u-co), Uconishka, Viiarsk (I pronounced V-ar-sk). The story starts out with the twins and the heart of this story Diana and Dominic, and we are introduced to a few other characters quite quickly. The theme of Angels, Demons, Humans and others run throughout the book, and is written about differently than numerous other tales I have come across. Specifically for me in this book, is the telling of the warring, hovering, and the eventual almagamation of worlds. There is a lot of discription of the three worlds and how one transgresses these spaces. Lots of colour, and talk of feelings and voids. Although, much of the story centres around: distrust, loyalty, seperatism, spiritualism, anger, hate and belief. It like most literature, songs, and other works of art at the very core is a tale about 'Love'. I would like to re-read this book again, as I am sure I will pick-up on things I missed the first time. For a first novel from this writer I found it: deep, curious, wordy, almost a trilogy. Certainly, a story of interest but, also truthfully not my usual choice of read - think it could work very well in a visual format.

5.0 out of 5 stars Torment of Angels , review !!! 13 Aug. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is about Angels impartial and compassionate and the schemes they orchestrate for the " lesser beings". With themes of abandonment, manipulation and deception this dark fantasy is very compelling. Within the ethereal world which the story is set the character explore ,fetishism, sadomasochism gratuitous sex and costume changes. An extremely seductive story and excellent read !!!
