Not a terrible read 30 April 2010
By G. Rual
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I found this book slow initially, but once I got into it I managed to read it within 3 days, because I wanted go back for more.

I have read many Graham Masterton books and for me, this was not a typical Masterton. I found it to be a bit more crime related but still contained supernatrual themes.

This and the fact that the story was set in Ireland made a good change, although the target market is obviously still American.

Definately worth a read if you are a Masterton fan.

I've read a lot of Mastertons books, and I have to say, this one is even gorier and sicker than the others! His descriptions of pain and torture are so real, you just can't help losing yourself in it and feeling very sick! It's set in Ireland and concerns ancient rituals that are incredibly sick and twisted! You have to buy this book, it's as simple as that!

What a fantastic and scary read, prob one of the best horror books I have ever read. The graphic images stayed in my mind a long time after racing towards the conclusion. If you truly love good horror and want to be frightened late at night....then read this book...and keep looking over your shoulder!
