3.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable light read 9 Dec. 2011
Format:Paperback
I am enjoying this book more than I expected to. Its quite light but a nice easy read. You do ending up wanting the characters to get their happy endings. Some nice descriptions of food in here also... would make you hungry reading it. If you want to switch off from the world for a while then this is the book for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok, read but I am not a foodie 19 April 2012
Format:Paperback
I sort of enjoyed this book but I found it a bit disjointed, I am a little bit fed up with designer name dropping. Do designers pay authors to name them in books eg. why couldn't the man be wearing a pale blue shirt but it was specified as a Massimo Dutti, in my case it was so what, the same as if they get married it's always a Vera Wang wedding dress

2.0 out of 5 stars Not recommended 23 Jun. 2013

I didn't enjoy this book & wouldn't recommend it. I thought it was poorly written with a very predictable storyline. I've enjoyed books by Cathy Kelly & Maeve Binchy & hoped this would be of similar quality. I won't be bothering to read any further books by this author if this is a good example of her books.
