Dianne Leigh Harrington is a 32 year old spokesmodel in a clothing empire founded by her grandfather, the only member of her immediate family to ever show her any love. Other than Catherine, her best friend since childhood, Dianne doesn't have any female friends, has never been in love and is pretty much a loner.
Alex Stewart, Catherine's older brother, is a smart, savvy, corporate attorney who comes from a loving and successful family. He has always had the support and companionship of both his family and friends. Yet, there is something, or rather someone, who is missing in his life: Dianne.
Alex has always been there for Dianne, throughout the many rejections that she experienced from her parents as a child, and into adulthood. For years, Alex has silently ached to be more than friends with Dianne. Yet, he doesn't want to do anything that may cause their friendship to end. One day, Dianne gives Alex a proposition he simply can't refuse.
From their first heart-stopping, tongues-entwined, ecstasy-filled kiss, the passion between Alex and Dianne simply leaps off of the pages. The transition from being childhood friends to lovers is a quick one, and something that neither Dianne nor Alex can believe that they are actually fortunate enough to experience. Nevertheless, shortly after becoming lovers, Dianne's entire world is shaken and rocked to the core. She is forced to rely on Alex in ways that she never desired nor imagined. Will their newly found romantic relationship withstand the pressures that Dianne suddenly finds herself unable to escape?
I thoroughly enjoyed "A Seductive Kiss". The storyline is entertaining and interesting. Francis Ray always introduces an intriguing and engaging cast of characters in her novels and "A Seductive Kiss" is no exception. The Grayson Friends series is widely popular and this latest installment will add to its success.
