The book begins by introducing you to the main charecter of Ginny, an admin officer in the army who is posted to a unit run by an old colleague who she has always had a crush on.
The book rattles on at a good pace from then on with plenty of other charecters and peronalities to feel for and laugh with. Catherine Jones' novels are must reads for anyone who loved the series of soldier, soldier or indeed anyone connected to the forces. I devoured the book in a couple of sittings as I got more and more engrossed in the story and simply had to find out how it ended!
