On the whole i'm not Knocking this album, it's ok for the price. I really like Deano's versions of Silver bells and it's beginning to look like Christmas. If you are a fan of Sinatra there's plenty here to please as he has most of the disc space. My real issue is the choice of songs That Sammy Davis Jnr is singing, and although he is a great entertainer, Rock-a-bye baby with a dixie melody sung in the style of Nat king Cole doesn't seem to fit in a Christmas album. The other two songs One for my baby and my shining hour aren't Christmassy either.Maybe Sammy didn't record many Christmas songs,Nat certainly did and i've got one of his Christmas albums. So to sum up Frank and Deano sing Christmas and Sammy sings something else mostly in the style of Nat king cole. The interuption by Sinatra was the best bit about Dixie melody for me, Sammy introduces the song "Ladies and gentlemen, Rock a bye baby with a dixie melody,In the style of Mr Nat king cole" [Sinatra adds] "was a merry ol' soul".
