Oh how I enjoyed this book, it has everything that is essential for a good read. It is so easy to conjure up in your mind the characters and their adventures as they happen. As with other reviewers I couldn't put it down and recommend it for readers of all ages. There surely must be books to come covering the other three Quarters? I sincerely hope so. Well done Zoe, a fabulous debut book.

My 8 year old son read this on his own- and adored it. He would sit and read 50-80 pages in one go. He can't wait for the next book, he says he's going to re-read this one again and again while he waits. We've now bought a couple of copies and have given them to the local primary school - and at least one kid I know has read it and loved it. The story is engaging, exciting and really lets your imagination see and live it. Well done Zoe Tyson!

A Quarter of Magic was a brilliant book. I enjoyed every moment of it, from the start to the last page and I couldn't put it down. I especially relished the idea of magic being banned and the idea of having to hide it from the baddies in the book.
The characters were exciting and well presented. I enjoyed their different abilities and how they all came in useful. It had an extremely exciting ending and I cannot wait for the next one to come!!

Magical
Couldn't put this book down. Loved it, it has Adventure, magic and mystery great story. Great reading for all ages. Hope there is going to be a second book.
